  • Banks Botanicals - in our mocktails

Distinctive and inimitable, the Yarra Valley beverage industry showcases the region’s exceptional attributes to the world. The award winning Banks Botanicals, launched in July 2021, forms part of the genesis for a bold new direction in the industry’s newest and fastest growing “Drinks” category – no and low alcohol beverages “It was the Yarra Valley’s reputation for pristine water that first drew us to Healesville,” says Yolanda Uys, co-founder of Banks Botanicals, together with Brian Cohen and Frank De Palma. “We appreciated the region for its abundance, diversity and quality – ideals we wanted to embody in our boutique ‘local craft’ product as well.” Their taste sensation is Banks Botanicals, a distilled organic, non-alcoholic spirit that is 100% sugar and gluten-free and vegan friendly. This innovative mixer is a blend of five carefully selected botanicals, each with its own unique flavour profile: wattleseed with its nutty rich aroma, lemon myrtle with fresh citrus notes, limes for their floral citrus flavour, the cinnamon sweetness of cassia, and the spice of pepperberries. “Unapologetically bold, it is a sophisticated mixer with a sense of occasion, “ says Yolanda, “and has a memorable finish that lingers long after the final sip.”

  • Cunliffe & Waters - used extensively in our food service

Established By Amanda Cunliffe in 1996, Cunliffe & Waters has built a well deserved reputation as a producer of some of the finest handmade preserves in Australia. Our philosophy is to create each batch as if we are making some jars for ourselves with a few left over for friends. All Cunliffe & Waters jams and marmalades are cooked very quickly in small batches to capture the pure flavours of the best possible ingredients. Our savoury range we let simmer a little longer to achieve the perfect flavour and texture.

Only natural preservatives are used in our products! With the exception of one of our sauces our products are completely gluten free and our savoury labels are now accordingly marked. In keeping with our handmade philosophy and our affiliation with growers in the Yarra Valley, we try and source as much local produce as possible.

Simone and Joshua O'Dea bought the business in 2017 and the business has continued to grow. Simone worked for Amanda for over 20 years from selling at markets, packing orders, book keeping, sales and doing deliveries. Josh joined the team in 2010 doing deliveries and also selling preserves at Markets
